Gamblers Wanted: Atlantic City Gamblers Show Up, Finally, at Revel

Even Revel’s Facebook web page bears their slogan that is new Wanted

It is the very first good news since Atlantic City’s casino that is newest started: finally, a marketing campaign appears to be working, and July’s numbers reflect the improvements everywhere within Revel Casino-Hotel.

New Campaign Working

Having its seemingly obvious ‘Gamblers Wanted’ campaign including a sign that is massive close to the front side of this casino Revel has apparently managed to get clear that their former no-smoking, chi-chi attitude is away because of the Atlantic Ocean tides, and a more approachable ‘come on in and invest your money’ tactic is working for them.

Revel’s revenues for July were $23.4 million, from a combined take from both slots and table games, which represents a dramatic 33 percent jump from this past year.

‘we think the July outcomes clearly reflect the impact of the ‘Gamblers Wanted’ campaign,’ said Jeffrey Hartman, Revel’s interim CEO.

Overall, however, Atlantic City casinos will be wanting more gamblers; the figures for each of the beleaguered gambling city’s casinos continued to freefall, with a nearly 4 percent fall compared to 2012, according to numbers released by the state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement. The only real other gambling enterprises that showed gains besides Revel had been Borgata, up 19 per cent, and Resorts Casino Hotel, with a 6 percent jump compared to year that is last.

Making the College Admission Process about You

High School me personally in Such A Thing Goes

Greetings from sunny Southern California! My title is Jessica Frey (informally royal vegas free play referred to as J Frey) and we am a Senior Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission at USC. I was raised in Hollister, a farm that is tiny in Northern California that has no affiliation whatsoever with the clothes store. Many of you readers will be applying to college it, and I want to make sure you know this is going to be all about you before you know. It may feel a little weird and selfish for anyone whom are constantly putting other’s needs before your very own. But in order you belong and feel happy, you do need to make the college search process all about yourself for you to make an informed college list and end up at a place where.

I don’t know I was in high school I made a lot of my decisions based on what other people were doing and thinking about you, but when. It’s cool to put on pants that are red? Ok, maybe I will go get that pair I had been eyeing during the mall weekend that is last. All the other kids in my class are applying to College XYZ? Maybe I should too. My therapist says I’d be good at engineering since I li (more…)

‘Honors’ at USC… Which Program is suitable for Me?

You’ve come this far—you’ve gotten accepted to USC! I’m yes the first thing on your mind now is how you can challenge you to ultimately the fullest degree through your four years as a Trojan. Ok, ok, maybe researching Honors tools at USC is not the thing that is first your to-do list (you’re busy applying for housing and ordering football seats, right?) So, we thought we would bring the information to you! Here you will find the details on two honors options at USC: Freshman Science Honors and Thematic Option.

The Freshman Science Honors Program, or FSH, supplies a rigorous yet personalized experience for first year students in the natural sciences. Rather than taking the typical freshmen 12 months science courses, FSH students simply take a version that is advanced of classes that have both an inferior lecture and discussion section. This fosters a more hands-on experience in labs, more individualized attention from faculty, and a more collaborative environment amongst FSH Scholars. FSH also extends beyond the classroom, supplying possibilities for industry trips, guest lectures, etc.

Austin Carter, a sophomore majoring in Biological Sciences, took part in FSH and says he initially applied because he ‘was excited about dealing with a smaller group’ and ‘thrives down collaboration.’ He definitely found that teamwork through FSH: ‘Through collaborating on labs or studying for tests, our effort brought us (more…)
